Wouldn’t osascript solve your problem?
Unless, of course, you want to write a utility that will parse a string passed to it and add the extracted address to the Address Book. Then I will say “thank yo!”, because it would be extremely convenient to use it via Quicksilver: Cmd-Escape, aab (Add to Address Book) and voila!
Interesting, except that it’s read-only. Might be nice to build on, though.
