Parties! Huge Apple Decals! WWDC!

The past couple of days, they’ve been installing huge Apple banners (I mean, like four stories tall) over the windows at Moscone West in preparation for WWDC. As I was riding home last night, I was so distracted by the enormous Apple logo that I nearly crashed in evening rush-hour traffic.

Unbelievably, in addition to the WWDC 2006 Webloggers Party there is now the WebKit Open Source Party, both at the 111 Minna Gallery in downtown San Francisco! (111 Minna is also just around the corner from Slide HQ!)

If you’ve ever wanted to meet the Slide for Mac team, both of us will be at WWDC next week (and at one or both evening events at 111 Minna), so if you see us, say hi!

(We’ve also released another new version today and started a blog to communicate about the cool new features we’ve been working on. It’s a little spartan at the moment, but we’re all a little tired. )
