Can't open it by 2-clicking its icon in the /Applications folder. If I open Contents/MacOS I find an executable re/search. 2-clicking this opens terminal and indeed puts an item into the menu bar. Is there no way to have it behave in the usual Mac GUI way? Thanks for any help.

It's possible that the search string you entered to search the web isn't actually present in the document which was returned, in which case "Find Next" does nothing. Try Command-F to bring up the Find Panel, see if it says "Not Found".

It's interesting to note how often the words you enter into a search engine *don't* appear in the documents which are returned :)

Re: re:search 1.1. It appears you have neat little app, but I do have a problem. But I will tell you up front, the problem may not be your app, but the old fool on this side of the keyboard. My MacIntel iMac keyboard is configured with the "Dvorak" layout. Now I can type in my search term and get one list of choices for the search. I did not get the number of choices available. I hit the "command" key and the "G" key and it would not scroll down. I then considered it might not recognize it, I then the hit "command" and the "I" key. This would be the "G" key on the Sholes or qwerty keyboard. I got the same response, nothing. Any suggestions?

If the search field isn't already selected automatically, you should be able to select it using Tab.

Cheers!

This is a pretty cool little app. Just started playing with it but I already like it.

Any chance of getting a keyboard shortcut to highlight the Search field in an open re:search window? Or did I miss it in the Help?

Thanks!
