Slide Update

A new version of Slide went out tonight, including (among other things), in-client tag search for RSS feeds and “playlists”, which are aggregates of feeds. The idea behind this is that you search for stuff you’re interested in, find interesting Slide shows or feeds, and group them into playlists, between which you can quickly switch.

There’s other new stuff — we reorganized the item preview window, and you can now subscribe to a YouTube RSS feed and watch the videos right in Slide. We also added more pervasive drag and drop supoort, built up our sharing system so that you can have a whole IM conversation around a ticker item, there’s rewind and fast forward, and probably some other stuff I’m forgetting, so check it out and send us some feedback why not.
