Newspeak 3.0 (v17)

I decided to bite the bullet and fix all of the known DCC/file transfer issues in one shot, and push release 3.0 (v17) out a bit ahead of schedule — that is, today. There was a serious crash issue in v16, so I’ve simplified the DCC receive code a bit such that received files now always go to the Desktop. Additionally, the contextual menu item in the channel user list now properly displays the Send Files… menu item, file transfer progress is properly reported while sending, and the Cancel and Clear buttons work again in the file transfer window. [ Gripe: It is annoying that I have to pick just one processor architecture in the sourceforge file release page. It seems their system can’t cope with the idea of Universal Binaries. Anyway, all releases are PowerPC and Intel unless explicitly noted. ]
